Flood cleaning in Lewes
After many years in the carpet cleaning business, we have now purchased a Hydramaster van mounted carpet cleaning system, not only does this deliver remarkable carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning, but is an effective way to remove flood water. We were recently called in by a customer living in central Lewes, on returning from her holiday,soon found that a water pipe had burst in her loft. The ground floor of her house was under six inches of water.
The Hydramaster has a large recovery tank, enabling the rapid removal of large quantities of water from flooring, on this occasion it took one hour to reach a ‘damp to the touch’ carpet. We installed turbo driers (4) and a de-humidifier, after four days, a thorough clean and odour treatment saw her back to normality.
